I would like to introduce you to a fast and fun font, Roller Derby!
I loved roller skating ever since I can remember. Dance routines, roller rinks and I still have my sneaker skates that are usually in the trunk of my car just in case. I designed this font to demonstrate my love for roller skating.
These are my sketches for my poster ideas, leading up to the final project.
I had several ideas for this project, and I believe I chose correctly. In most of the drawings, if you look carefully, almost each sketch has something for the final poster.
Final posters. Adapted to the Halloween theme.
Adding fun little extras, such as the teeth, coloration and other small costume accents was exactly what these girls needed. The ladies of Roller Derby are like the font.
